The G6000Z thumb-type laser methane telemeter consists of an optoelectronic system, a signal processing system, a display and alarm system, and a shell assembly. It is mainly used to measure the concentration of methane or methane-containing gas (natural gas, gas or similar gases) at a long distance, and can be widely used for rapid positioning and detection of gas pipelines.

The laser methane telemeter emits a beam of infrared laser to the detection point, which can quickly measure the concentration of the air mass between the detection point and the telemeter. For the convenience of observation, the telemeter also emits a beam of visible green laser to the detection point. This telemeter can detect the methane concentration value of the location in real time and accurately, and display and store it. When it exceeds the alarm value, it will sound and light alarm so that personnel can make subsequent disposal.
